These terms of competition apply to Open Competitions.

1. The competition will be run under current Rules of Golf, Rules of Handicapping, and local rules. 

2. Ties will be decided on card back 9 count back.

3. No competitor may win more than one main prize in any one competition. 

4. All players must have a current handicap index CDH ID and be a full playing member of an affiliated golf club. Competition handicap entry limits are based on handicap index at date of competition. Visitors that are only members of ScottishGolf’s “OpenPlay”, or England Golf’s “igolf” should contact  g.m@helensburghgolfclub.co.uk , for further information. Any age restrictions are a players age on the date of the relevant competition.

5. Refunds must be requested by E-Mail to g.m@helensburghgolfclub.co.uk   for entrants who cancel more than one week prior to the closing date. 

6. Refunds will not be given to entrants who withdraw within one week of the competition date. 

7. In the event of competition cancellation, we will attempt to replay on a postponed date.

    A full refund will be given to those unable to attend this re-arranged date. 

8. All competitors MUST register at the appropriate registration point prior to commencement of play; failure to do  so may result in disqualification. 

By booking,  a player is deemed to have accepted these “Terms of Competition”
